Carteret County and the entire fishing community have lost a very special guy. I was incredibly blessed to have him be our captain, but even more blessed to have him as my friend. Our hearts are broken for our mate Carson Ruffin - he and Junior were the best of friends and they made a great team. As hard as his loss is for all of us, it doesn’t compare to what it is like for his family. Please keep his wife April and their children, Amber (husband Mark), Nicholas and Tyler in your prayers in the days and weeks to come. And whenever you think of Junior, remember what a genuinely nice guy he was and pass along a little kindness to someone else. The new Diamond Girl is too large to fit in our old slip at the Morehead City Charter Dock, so we are now docked in Atlantic Beach at Anchorage Marina.

Fishing has been pretty good lately. Wahoo, Dolphin, and Blackfin with a few Sailfish mixed in also.
You can charter the “Diamond Girl” for full day offshore trips or sunset cruises (weather permitting). We will provide bottled water and snacks, while you enjoy your trip on the water. We also provide all the tackle, ice, bait, and even throw in a joke or two.
We can entertain business clients as well as family and friends, in parties of up to 6. (per US Coast Guards regulations). With our plush interior, you will be very comfortable and relaxed.

Other expenses:
For the day will be tip to the mate, and fish cleaning. Please remember the mate at the end of the day. He is there first in the morning and many times is the last to leave. He works hard for us whether or not we catch any fish. Typically the mate is tipped 10% to 20%.
Note:
A full day trip we leave the dock between 5:30 and 6:00 am and return between 4:30 and 5:00pm. 30 knots and these times will give you plenty of fishing time and if things are a little slow out there you will get some rest time too, but if you rest too much you just might miss that awesome Blue Marlin bite!
